PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impregnant composition for an interior material, and to provide a method for producing the interior material, capable of producing the interior material having high hardness in good productivity. SOLUTION: This impregnant composition for the interior material comprises (A) a polyisocyanate, (B) a foam stabilizer, and (C) an antifoam, wherein the component (A) contains a polymethylene polyphenylene polyisocyanate or its derivative containing diphenylmethane diisocyanate. The method for producing the interior material comprises impregnating a porous base material with the impregnate composition, spraying a catalyst with or without water, and subjecting the resulted porous base material to thermocompression bonding at 85-150 deg.C for 10-150 sec. |
