PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image printer miniaturized and lowered in the cost thereof and capable of preventing the paper jam of a discharged paper due to a reverse carrying and the generation of damage and a slip of the paper sheets. SOLUTION: This image printer is provided with a paper delivery roller for delivering a recording paper to a paper delivery part as a paper delivery space after recording the recording paper, a paper delivery guide for guiding a top surface of the delivered recording paper, and a paper delivery spring member having elasticity and arranged so that the recording paper abuts on the paper delivery route at an acute angle and that the recording paper is wound around the paper delivery roller at an angleθ. With this structure, the device is miniaturized, and the cost is lowered, and the image printer capable of preventing the paper jam of a delivered paper due to the reverse carrying and the generation of damage and a slip is provided.
