PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which toner having environmental safety is manufactured with a high yield in a short time because residual polymerized monomer and a volatile polymerization start agent dissolved product or the like are reduced. SOLUTION: The toner is made of vacuum-drying coloring polymerized particles in a state that particulates smaller than the coloring polymerized particles coexist under a condition where the maximum value of average ventilation speed per hour at a bug filter is set as 1-30 m/minute by using a vacuum drying machine in which the bug filter is fixed at an exhaust port by a clamping means such as a bolt and a sealing means such as a silicone seal agent.
