PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small optical switch to be easily manufactured and a method for manufacturing a guide structure for a movable mirror. SOLUTION: Guide members 10A, 10B having a guide groove 12 for guiding the movement of the movable mirror 14 consisting of a permanent magnet by accommodating the seat part of the mirror 14 are formed on one main surface of a base plate and electromagnetic coils 16, 18 are formed so as to be opposed to each other through the groove 12. The coil 16 is constituted by winding a conductive layer 16b around a magnetic pole 16a along its longitudinal direction and the coil 18 also is similarly constituted. When light is incident on the mirror 14 from an optical fiber 20a through a lens 22a when the mirror is arranged on a position shown by a solid line, the incident light is reflected on the mirror 14 and led out from an optical fiber 20b through a lens 22b. When the mirror 14 is moved to a position shown by a broken line by the resiliency of the coil 16, incident light goes straight and is led out from an optical fiber 20c through a lens 22c. |
