PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic setter which exhibits high air permeability, attains high removing efficiency to organics or the like and realizes uniform dispersion of an atmospheric gas in its inside and easy diffusion of the gas to the outside when it is used in the process such as sintering for producing an electronic device component or the like, and thereby, which realizes improvement of quality and productivity of the component or the like above, and to provide a method of producing the same. SOLUTION: The ceramic setter, used in a heat treatment or a firing process for producing a ceramic-based electronic device component or a metal-based part obtained by injection molding and having a plurality of perforated holes, contains alumina in an amount of >=70 wt.%. The shape of each perforated hole is such that the inner diameter is nearly same in the longitudinal direction and in the range of 0.3 to 1 mm, and the inner hole is straight. |
