PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a hinge part to be folded linearly in good workmanship when a lid member is to be opened. SOLUTION: A structure of an air bag lid part for vehicle according to the invention is configured so that a swellout opening of the air bag body, a tear line 38 to partition the lid member 37 for blocking the swellout opening, and the hinge part 46 are formed on/at the rear surface of an air bag lid 28 and that reinforcing ribs 50 and 51 for the air bag lid 28 are formed on the rear surface of the air bag lid 28, wherein that of the ribs, 50, which is located near the hinge part 46 (inclined longitudinal reinforcing rib 66) is arranged approximately perpendicularly intersecting the stress curve of the hinge part 46 in the condition that the lid member 37 is opened. |
