PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aqueous emulsion coating material which can form a coating film having excellent decomposability of volatile organic compounds(VOC) such as formaldehyde. SOLUTION: This aqueous emulsion coating material comprises an aqueous synthetic resin emulsion and titanium oxide having a photocatalytic activity and can further comprise a pigment in addition to the titanium oxide, and the pigment weight concentration(PWC) in the aqueous emulsion coating material is 40-95.
