PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make asbestos in waste of inorganic building materials containing harmful asbestos harmless and to provide a recycled fertilizer. SOLUTION: The waste of the inorganic building materials containing asbestos is subjected to reaction and firing at 700 to 1500 deg.C to obtain siliceous fertilizer in which asbestos is made to be harmless and is recycled.
