PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skid lifter capable of miniaturizing a press device and effectively utilizing an installation space by shortening the reference moving distance of a metal plate from the delivery position of the metal plate of the skid lifter to the position of the first press process of the press device. SOLUTION: A lift body 4 protruded with a plurality of horizontal arm sections 7 in parallel at intervals forward at the upper section is provided in front of the column 1 of a skid lifter main body 2. A guide plate 11 having a groove 13, with the upper section inclined backward and the lower section located in the front, is provided at the upper section of the column 1. Coupling grooves 14 are provided on the arm sections 7 of the lift body 4 in the longitudinal direction of the arm sections 7. A metal plate receiving member 15 provided with rails slidably coupled with the coupling grooves 14 on the lower face is provided on the arm sections 7 movably back and forth. A pin 18 provided at the rear section of the metal plate receiving member 15 via a bracket 17 is slidably coupled with the groove 13.
