<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tray-like heat-insulating double container that retains sufficient heat-insulation properties and a shape to a moderate degree, by defining a heat insulating space 10 between an inner container 20 and a box 30 by a method in which the tray-like box 30, made of cardboard or corrugated paper, is positioned on the outside of the tray-like inner container 20, made of a relatively thin expanded polystyrene or unexpanded polystyrene, the tray- like heat insulating double container being used for, for example, instant pan- fried noodle that is cooked in such a manner that hot water is poured in the container, the noodle is left to stand, and then residual hot water is poured out of the container. SOLUTION: A bottom projection 22 in the shape of a disk, doughnut, etc., is formed on the outside of the middle of a bottom plate 21 of the inner container 20. A bottom plate 31 of the box 30 is stuck to the bottom projection of the bottom plate 21. At the same time, on upper outer surfaces of side plates 23 of the inner container 20, upper peripheral projections are defined in the form of tapes or broken lines. Upper peripheral portions of side plates 23 of the box 30 are stuck to the upper peripheral projections 24 of the side plates 23. Thus, the tray-like heat-insulating double container can be obtained.</p> |
