PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular air conditioner capable of restraining an air state in a cabin from becoming unpleasant as the air state in the cabin of a vehicle separates from a required state. SOLUTION: When stopping an engine 2, an inside-outside air switchingh door 14 for switching an air conditioning air sucking port in the air conditioner is forcedly displaced so as to block up an outside air passage 13, and the air flowing area of the outside air passage 13 is set to almost '0' to thereby restrain outside air from being sucked in the air conditioner as air conditioning air so that an air temperature (the air state) in the cabin 10 is hardly separated from the required state.
