PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic having excellent film-forming performance and thickening property. SOLUTION: This cosmetic comprises two or more kinds of water-soluble polymers and satisfies the formula V1>=2V2 (I) [V1 represents viscosity of two or more kinds of water-soluble polymers and V2 represents maximum value of viscosity of individual water-soluble constituting two or more kinds of water- soluble polymers, with the proviso that a polymer concentration in measuring viscosity of water-soluble polymer of V2 is same as polymer concentration in measuring V1].
