PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of achieving centering in the direction of width based on a recessed part or a protrusion part so that size precision of a product differed in thickness with a portion is improved, in case of fine blanking processing where a metallic band having a continuous recessed part or a protrusion part in a specified width in a longitudinal direction. SOLUTION: A metallic band centering device to effect positioning in the direction of the width of the metallic band consists of a positioning means to press back the metallic band 2 to a home position by energizing a wall surface 2c on the recessed part side or a wall surface 2f on the protrusion side, being the end in the direction of width of the recessed part 2a or the protrusion part 2d when the recessed part 2a or the protrusion part 2d of the metallic band 2 is displaced from a home position in the direction of width. In concretely, a positioning means comprises, for example, a positioning roller 10, a positioning roller shaft 15, a support plate 30, a coil spring 40, and a stopper 50, etc.
