PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high rubber content powder composition as a modifier of impact resistance having a rubber phase content of >90 wt.%. SOLUTION: The method for producing a powdery impact resistance modifier comprises the steps of (I) providing a polymer particle dispersion comprising (a) 1st polymer particle group and (b) 2nd polymer particle group, wherein the average particle diameter of eh group (a) is >=50% greater than that of the group (b), and having the total rubber weight fraction for the groups (a) and (b) of >90 wt.% and (II) spray-drying the polymer particle dispersion.
