PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an excellent optical coupling by the use of members such as a substrate and an optical device when all of relative positional precision between a V groove and an alignment mark, the formed depth of the V groove and a mounting position of the optical device do not conform to a set value. SOLUTION: The substrate 1 is provided with the V groove 6, the optical fiber 3 is held by the V groove 6 of the substrate 1, and positions of the core center 7 of the optical fiber 3 and the optical axis 2a of the optical device 2 are adjusted.
