PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon dioxide sensor device of a structure which reduces a malfunction and to provide an exhalation switch device comprising an armor component which covers the sensor device. SOLUTION: The carbon dioxide sensor device 10 is provided with an upper base mesh part 11A and a side-face seal part 12. Since the mesh part 11A is constituted of a mesh, carbon dioxide in an exhalation with reference to a sensor element from the upper base direction passes the mesh. The carbon dioxide in the exhalation with reference to the sensor element from the side-face direction of the sensor element is stopped by the seal part 12 covering the circumference of the sensor element from the side face. The sensor device 10 is provided with a lower side-face mesh part 11B which is installed in the lower part of the seal part 12 and which covers the circumference of the sensor element from the side face, high-concentration carbon dioxide which stays around the sensor element escapes downward.
