PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous setting in a setting time due to wide variety of engine characteristics in engine simulation. SOLUTION: Data showing typical characteristic behavior of the engine are displayed on a screen, and a characteristic setting part is set in the behavior part. According to the characteristic setting operation, a direct shift to a setting screen matching the engine characteristic can be carried out.
