PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemiluminescence type nitrogen oxide concentration meter for simply and quickly determining the degree of deterioration of a catalyst for reducing and transforming NO2 in sample gas to NO. SOLUTION: In a mode of determining the degree of deterioration of a converter catalyst, a three-way solenoid valve SV1 is switched to a standard gas passage 6 side to which a feedback passage 9 is connected, and a solenoid valve SV5 is opened to introduce exhaust gas passed through an ozone killer 41 through a converter 22 into a reaction vessel 52 where O3 is introduced from an ozone gas introduction passage 3, the chemiluminescence exhaust gas and O3 is detected by a photoelectric detector 51 of a measuring part 5, and NO2 concentration in the exhaust gas is measured by a processing/control part 10. The measured NO2 concentration value is compared with a designated value stored in the processing/control part 10, and when it is below the designated value, the processing/control part 10 gives determination output for displaying the catalyst of the converter is deteriorated on a display device.
