PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a warm air heater which can expand the selection range of its installed location and, at the same time, can promote room temperature uniformization. SOLUTION: This warm air heater is provided with a fan 7 for convection, an encapsulating case 1 having an air inlet 3 through which air for warm air is sucked into the case 1 when the fan 7 is driven and a warm air outlet 6, and a burner 8 which is provided in the case 1 to burn fuel. The furnace is also provided with a heat chamber 13 in which the combustion gas from the burner 8 flows. The air inlet 3 is provided on the top side of the case 1 so that the air sucked into the case 1 through the inlet 3 may be heated in the heat chamber 13 and blown out of the warm air outlet 6.
