PURPOSE: A domestic appliance with an improved noise pattern is provided to control the noise emitted from a domestic appliance by changing the tone and volume of the noise. CONSTITUTION: A domestic appliance(1) has a sound source(6) such as a radio receiver for production of sound. The sound source has facilities for determining the noises produced by the domestic appliance, which are introduced in such a manner. The second source controls the sound produced relative to the type of the sound or its loudness depending on the determining of the noises produced by the domestic appliance.
