<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partial discharger detection device capable of detecting the generation cause of partial discharge, and executing accurate and quick determination. SOLUTION: In this partial discharge detection device, a voltage signal is inputted through a floating electrode 4 installed in the insulating state in gas insulating electrical machinery and equipment composed by storing a high- voltage charging part together with insulating gas in a metal container 1, and the voltage signal is processed, and the partial discharge generated inside the gas insulating electrical machinery and equipment is detected. The device is equipped with a wide input amplifier 8A and a waveform conversion part 9 for preventing saturation of an envelop waveform of a wide-range partial discharge signal generated inside the gas insulating electrical machinery and equipment, and a partial discharge cause determination part 22 for detecting a peak value of the envelop waveform, and specifying the partial discharge generation cause.</p> |
