PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lightweight olefinic thermoplastic elastomer composition having excellent abrasion resistance and sufficiently high flame retardance and useful as a protecting tube and a sheet material for automotive wire harness electric wires. SOLUTION: This olefinic thermoplastic elastomer composition comprises an olefinic thermoplastic elastomer as a base polymer. Furthermore, the olefinic thermoplastic elastomer composition is obtained by compounding the olefinic thermoplastic elastomer composition comprising the olefinic thermoplastic elastomer as the base polymer with an ultrahigh-molecular weight polyethylene and, as desired, an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and further compounding a bromine flame retardant, antimony trioxide and a lubricant.
