PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provided a brake device of a golf cart which uniformly brakes front and rear wheels of the golf cart and surely works braking even when one of brake cables is cut. SOLUTION: Brake cables 56a and 56b for a front wheel brake are connected to an equalizer mechanism 49a for the front wheels. Brake cables 56c, 56d of a rear wheel brake are connected to an equalizer mechanism 49b for rear wheels. Connecting rods 51a, 51b of a power transmission system of the both equalizer mechanisms 49a, 49b are connected to a power transmission system of one brake operating means and an automatic brake actuator. A balance restricting unit is provided such that by making small a gap dimension e between a root piece 58 of a bracket 52a (52b) at a leading end of the connecting rode 51a (51b) and a front edge of a rotating plate 53a (53b), a right and left rotating amount of the rotary plate 52a (52b) is restricted, when one brake cable is cut.
