PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filling machine for a complex paper container mainly constituted of paper capable of positively holding taste, odor or flavor and nutritious substances or the like by a method wherein a filling nozzle is washed automatically in a positive manner. SOLUTION: There is provided a filling machine for a paper container in which each of a forming station, a filling station and a sealing station is arranged in sequence for forming a bottom of a paper container for liquid on a filling machine, filling inner solution and then sealing a top segment of the paper container. A filling nozzle is enclosed by a cleaning box 83 having a lid 82 therein. The lid of the cleaning box is opened so as not to become a hindrance for the filling operation when the filling operation is carried out. In the case that the filling nozzle is cleaned, the cleaning box is sealingly closed with the lid, and at the same time its inner part can be automatically cleaned through circulation. Opening or closing of the lid can be operated under an automatic remote controlling operation. There is provided a paper container capable of keeping the filling nozzle clean, and further capable of positively keeping taste, odor or flavor and nutritious substances or the like.
