PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a book page holding tool by which pages can be easily and surely held and in addition, the pages can be freely turned over in a case when a book with a thin front cover is read while it is held by hands or is placed on a desk, etc. SOLUTION: In two sheets of placing members 1 the front shapes of which are formed into angle-sectional shapes, the inside slope pieces 2 of the placing members 1 are arranged so as to face each other and in addition, the apex parts of the inside slope pieces 2 are connected with each other by a connecting means. In addition, on the outside slope pieces 3 of the placing members 1, page holding members 7 each with a page pressing and stopping piece 8 with elasticity and for pressing and holding the pages and a slide channel 9 for making it slidable are respectively inserted.
