PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fold down a seat back forward with a headrest held thereon in a vehicle seat device whose seat cushion is changeable to a storage attitude wherein it is sprung up forward and raised and whose seat back is changeable to a forward folded attitude. SOLUTION: A seat cushion 2 has on the rear a reentrant 8 of a breadth smaller than that of the seat cushion 2 and with both side ends situated inside those of the seat cushion 2. When the seat cushion 2 is placed in a storage attitude and a seat back 3 is placed in a forward folded attitude, a headrest 1 on the seat back 3 is inserted in the reentrant 8 while held on the seat back 3.
