PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit large torque while sufficiently absorbing a torque fluctuation. SOLUTION: In a damper 14 of this torque transmission device, a first elastic modulus k1 (=ΔT/Δθ) of a first deformation part 14a applied with torque in a normal rotation direction is set to be larger than a second elastic modulus k2 of a second deformation part 14a applied with torque in a reverse rotation direction. Thereby, even if a compressor 1 operates to cause enlarging of necessary torque, the large torque is transmitted with preventing the damper 14 from exceeding an elastic limit, and the torque fluctuation can be sufficiently absorbed. When a discharge displacement is reduced to cause reducing of the necessary torque, the torque fluctuation can be absorbed in the second deformation part 14b having the small elastic modulus K. Accordingly, the large torque can be transmitted with sufficiently absorbing the torque fluctuation.
