PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the molding accuracy of an insertion hole for fibers is low and connection loss is large. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing a multi-fiber optical connector, the molding accuracy of an insertion hole for fibers is improved by pressing a thin diameter pin to prescribed one direction by a resin injected in a molding space by using two dies which does not constitute the same shape when the cross section area of a resin filling port is bisected in the height direction around the reference axis of the array direction of the thin diameter pin disposed in the molding space. Two portions of the multi-fiber optical connector when the area of the site of the filling port is bisected in the height direction around the central axis of the insertion hole for fibers do not constitute the same shape.
