PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor post for eliminating horizontal directional unstableness, enhancing levelness of a beam, and easily refastening a loosened nut by enhancing threadedly engaging strength of the floor post and a screw shaft. SOLUTION: In this floor post formed of a first support metal fitting erected from an undrfloor sill, supporting the beam in a horizontal state, erected on a sill upper surface, and applying a threaded part to the inside, a second support metal fitting erected on a beam bottom part, and applying a threaded part to the inside, and the screw shaft threadedly engaged with the threaded parts of the first support metal fitting and the second support metal fitting, a threaded engagement reinforcing mechanism 40 for strengthening a threadedly engaging state with the screw shaft 30 is arranged in opening parts 15 and 25 of the first support metal fitting 10 and the second support metal fitting 20.
