PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a large float having favorable durability and air tightness. SOLUTION: The large float is characterized as follows: a base fabric 11 is made cylindrical by undergoing cutting in prescribed dimensions so as to form a cylindrical body 12; both opening ends of the cylindrical body 12 are covered with a fabric body 13 and taken as an air chamber-shaped body; a latex solution is injected into the air chamber-shaped body whose inner wall is provided with a latex coagulating liquid; and plural air chambers, whose inner walls are formed with latex layers 4, are coupled together and made to have a ring shape. After the base fabric 11 is precedently formed in an air-chamber shape by sewing, etc., the latex layer 4 is formed inside for the purpose of enabling the prevention of destruction caused by the deterioration of an adhesive and the leakage of air through seams formed by the sewing. Additionally, the air chambers, which are basically independently constituted, are coupled together by a rope in order to advantageously bring about the favorableness of the coupling strength of the air chambers, the durability and the air tightness.
