PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environmental preservation type block-coupled body for slope protection, which is suitable for protection of an uneven slope. SOLUTION: The block-coupled body 11 for slope protection is constituted in such a manner that plural coupling blocks 1 are disposed in one direction and coupled to one another by running a wire rope 12 through a coupling through hole 5 of each block 1. The respective coupling blocks 1 can be relatively inclined because they are coupled together in such a manner as to sandwich a protruding section 4 in between, and the wholly flexible block-coupled body 11 can be constituted. Accordingly, the body 11 can be easily laid along the uneven slope. In addition, the environmental preservation type body 11 capable of maintaining an ecosystem can be constructed because a gap 15 can be formed between the respective coupling blocks 1 and used for vegetation and a fish reef.
