The parapente comprises a wing (1) whose arch is provided with canopy ends (2) with inverse cavity and a central V-shaped part (3). The wing comprises a slot between the extrados (5) and intrados (6) fabrics at the trailing edge. A control (11) enables the wingspan to be reduced by sheathing the central part. A control (20) enables increasing the deflection by folding the trailing edge. Two controls enable the arch to be adjusted by modification of the length of the suspension line. The leading edge openings are provided with valves (39) to prevent deflation of the parapente.
