PURPOSE: A method for punching hole and a mold die are provided to improve the productivity and to prevent pins from being broken by primarily pressing a workpiece using one pin and punching a hole by using the same pin. CONSTITUTION: An unfinished article(1') is achieved by chamfering a cylindrical metal member placed on the first die(30) by using the first hammer(10). The second hammer(11) having a pressing pin(13) strikes the unfinished article(1') placed on the first die(30) so as to form a slot(2). Then, the unfinished article(1') is moved to the second die by using the pressing pin(13). The unfinished article(1') is pressed by using a punching pin(45) so that a pressing section(3) is formed in the unfinished article(1'). Then, the third hammer(20) strikes the pressing section(3) thereby forming holes in the unfinished article(1').
