PURPOSE: A pneumatic tire having a reinforced rubber layer on a crown center is provided to effectively reduce rotation resistance and maintain brake performance and abrasion performance by using a reinforced rubber layer, which is high in elasticity and small in loss of energy. CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic tire having a reinforced rubber layer on a crown center includes a reinforced rubber layer(20). The reinforced rubber layer is formed between a tread part and a belt part of a crown center. The reinforced rubber layer is rubber compound containing natural rubber of 100 weight, silica of 20¯80 weight, sulfur of 3¯7 weight and vulcanized accelerating agent of 0.8¯2 weight. The reinforce rubber layer has a width of 20¯100mm.
