PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an extruded foam of a thermoplastic resin by which foaming magnification is controllable while amount of a foaming agent which is easily extrusion-foamed is kept. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the extruded foam of the thermoplastic resin comprising heating and melting the thermoplastic resin, injecting the foaming agent into the thermoplastic resin to make the mixture into a fluid gel and extruding and foaming it into a low temperature and low pressure region is provided and the method for manufacturing the extruded foam of the thermoplastic resin is characterized by incorporating 0.1-10 pts.wt. glycerin to 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic resin.
