PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently protect a person sitting on a back seat even when he touches or hit against the end or rear of a recessed portion of a seat frame, reduce a feeling of butting of the seat frame, reduce the thickness by eliminating a padding material and increase a leg space for persons sitting on a back seat. SOLUTION: A recess is formed in the rear of a seat frame 21. A seat covering member 23 is attached to the front of the seat frame 21. An engagement section 22 is formed in the outside end 24a of the seat frame 21. A skin material 25 is formed of a front foundation cloth 26 and a rear foundation cloth 27, each made of a front and rear fabric and an elastic intermediate layer 28. One end 31a of a trim material 31 and a hook member 33 are fastened to the end 25a of the skin material 25. The hook member 33 is engaged with the engagement section 22 of the outside end 24a. The other end 31b of the trim material 31 is engaged with the inside end 24b side of the seat frame 21 in a state of closing the rear open section 21e of the seat frame 21.
