PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forceps valve for an endoscope hygienic without dirty humor or the like in the body spouting out due to the force always in a closing direction being applied to a slit from the plug receiving side whatever rotated state a valve body formed with the slit is fitted in relation to a valve hole. SOLUTION: The valve hole 16 is formed in conical shape gradually narrowed toward the inner side, and a valve part 24 is formed in conical shape tightly fitted into the valve hole 16 at a part excluding the longitudinal direction of the slit 27. The longitudinal part of the slit 27 is formed to create a clearance between the valve hole 16 and the longitudinal part of the slit 27.
