STEAM SEPARATOR, STEAM GENERATOR AND STEAM SEPARATING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently separate liquid contents flowing into an orifice. SOLUTION: Gas-liquid separation is facilitated in the orifice 12 the end of opening of which is positioned on the outlet side of a tubular riser 11. An inner peripheral surface of the orifice 12 has a physical property which energizes a liquid film 18 which flows on the inner peripheral surface in the direction which has a component orthogonal to the axial direction L. Although steam separation is performed by the riser 11, the unseparated liquid contents is abandoned from the orifice 12 in the direction orthogonal to the axial direction L and is efficiently separated from a vapor stream by the gravitational separation. A swirl vane 7 which rotates a two-phase stream 7 by imparting a component orthogonal to the axial direction L to the entrained two-phase stream 7 which is introduced to the riser 11 in the axial direction L is most preferably added.
