PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for mushroom cultivation with which reduction in quality caused by splashing of water drops can be surely prevented, a large amount of high-quality mushrooms can be cultivated without taking much time or labor and which is premised on a commercial scale, a cultivation container and a cultivation apparatus. SOLUTION: This cultivation apparatus comprises a container support frame body 20 for supporting long box-shaped cultivation containers 30 at a plurality of stages, a change lever 41 as a container inclination mechanism for inclining each cultivation container 30 supported by the container support frame body 20 and a water supply and drainage apparatus 50 for supplying water to a medium in the containers 30 and dewatering.
