PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an ink jet head in which nozzles can be formed inexpensively with high accuracy and stabilized ink ejection characteristics can be sustained. SOLUTION: Nozzle holes 6 are made in a nozzle plate 2 to have a first opening bored from the rear surface wit respect to the ink ejecting side and a second opening of smaller diameter than the first opening bored from the surface on the ink ejecting side at a position corresponding to the first opening wherein the first and second openings communicate in the nozzle plate 2.
