PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing a lightweight foamed concrete capable of preventing bulging out of a mortar to a front surface of a mortar block when a foamed semi-cured mortar block is cut by a rotating bar-like element and preventing loss at a rear end of the block. SOLUTION: The apparatus for manufacturing the light-weight foamed concrete comprises side face retaining plates 3 respectively provided on both sides of a mounting base 1 capable of mounting the mortar block 2, a defect preventive protector 4 having a groove 5 on a standing surface and provided on a rear end of the base 1, a polygonal bar-like element 9 rotatably mounted at a moving frame 7 capable of moving along feeding rails 6 provided at both outsides of the base, disc-like collars 11 mounted at upper and lower parts of the element 9. |
