PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save energy, and, reduce the drying and the yellowing of cooked rice. SOLUTION: A process wherein a catalyst body 20 which dissolves and removes an odor generated from cooked rice is operated, and a process wherein the catalyst body 20 is not operated are alternately repeated. Thus, energy can be saved, the cooked rice is not always heated, and the drying and yellowing of the cooked rice can be reduced.
