The entire image taken by the camera is analyzed, text information is OCR interpreted and stored as compressed text code. A synthetic text image compared with the original text image, which is then deleted from the camera memory when there is a sufficiently good match. The original image is segmented into blocks for tagging and individual processing, the tags being e.g. name of author and publication and keywords out of headings to facilitate systematic storage and retrieval of database information. There is an Independent claim for a mobile text and image capture, processing, storage and transmission device. |
