PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic image diagnostic unit for facilitating an operation when desired three-dimensional echo data is read and also saving time and labor. SOLUTION: The unit is constituted of an ultrasonic probe 1, an image processor 2 for processing various kinds of images based on three-dimensional echo data, a monitor 3 for displaying the images, a main input device 4 connected to the image processor 2 so as to perform an operation and an indication, etc., and an auxiliary input device 5. Images related by a user and processed by an image processing circuit 10, three-dimensional echo data, to be a base for generating the images, and an image 3a with incidental information, which is data with incidental information, are displayed on the screen of the monitor 3. Then the image to be measured and a measurement item are designated from the images 3a, a measurement auxiliary line is displayed on the image, a caliper is set and, then, a CPU 12 measures the designated measurement item based on the three-dimensional space coordinate of the caliper. |
