<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight of an electric tricycle and make it compactly foldable so that it may be mounted on an automobile and transported and it may need a very small place of storage when not in use. SOLUTION: An electric motor 14 is continuously connected to the rear wheel shaft of a tricycle in which a handle shaft 1 supporting a front wheel 3 is mounted to the front end of a vehicle body 6 through an electromagnetic clutch 15, a seat 10 is provided on the top face of the rear of the vehicle body 6, and a rear wheel 11 is pivoted on both sides of the underside of the rear by a shaft so that the electric motor 14 may drive the rear wheel 11, the seat 10 can be mounted and dismounted from the vehicle body, and the handle shaft 1 can be folded to the rear side the vehicle body.</p> |
