PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently obtain sludge from a waste resin solution discharged by development mainly with a nonionic developing solution and to attain easy waste material treatment in a simple method for treating a waste solution in which waste material treatment is carried out by subjecting a waste resin solution of a water developable photosensitive resin printing plate to flocculation separation treatment with a simple treating bath so as to obtain sludge. SOLUTION: (1) In the method for treating a waste solution of a photosensitive resin printing plate in which a waste resin solution containing an uncured resin obtained in plate making by developing a photosensitive resin printing plate having an ionic hydrophilic group with a developing solution, a high molecular cationic flocculant, a cationic inorganic flocculant and an inorganic alkali metallic salt are added to the waste resin solution and mixed. (2) In the method for treating the waste solution of the photosensitive resin printing plate described in the item (1), the waste resin solution is subjected to flocculation separation at >=pH 9 and an acidic compound is added. |
