PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To excellently maintain the self-standing of a toilet seat when the toilet seat is in upright position relative to the toilet stool and to hold an upper surface of a casing and an upper surface of a toilet cover so as to be flush with each other when the toilet cover is laid on the toilet stool. SOLUTION: Engagement projections 2d are projectingly provided at both ends of an inclined surface 2c of a front surface of the casing 2a. In the engagement projections 2d, recessed holes to be fitted into the engagement projections 2d at lower parts and each hinge block 3 to insert/support hinge shafts 7 and 8 of closing units 7 and 8 so as to be non-rotatable is insertably/detachably mounted. In the one hinge block 3, the closing unit 8 for a toilet cover for inserting the toilet cover so as to non-rotatable and the toilet seat 5 so as to be rotatable and an assist mechanism 9 for the toilet seat 5 are provided so as to be extractable/insertable. In the other hinge block 3, the closing unit 7 for the toilet seat for inserting the toilet seat 5 so as to be non-rotatable and the toilet cover 6 so as to be rotatable is mounted so as to be extractable/insertable. The toilet seat 5 and the toilet cover 6 are rotatably supported by the casing 2a via each of the closing units 7 and 8 so that an upper surface of the toilet cover 6 may be flush with an upper surface of the casing 2a in a closed state.
