PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a household Buddhist altar which allows any disabled person to carry out preparations for worshipping thereto with ease despite physical difficulty. SOLUTION: In the Buddhist altar 2 which has a box-shaped body 1 where an enshrining shelf is placed at an inner part while a front door is provided on the front thereof, a front drawer shelf 15 free to pull out ahead of the body 1 is provided in front of the enshrining shelf 11. The front drawer shelf 15 can be housed with altar fittings 2 kept thereon.
