PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary suction tube assembly of a vacuum cleaner having a structure improved so that an auxiliary suction tube can be replaced easily with a sucking extension tube. SOLUTION: This auxiliary suction tube assembly of the vacuum cleaner comprises an air suction tube connected to a cleaner body, an auxiliary suction tube reciprocatingly attached to the air suction tube so as to be projected from and recessed into the end part of the air suction tube and having a brush at one end thereof, a sucking extension tube detachably attached to the end part of the air suction tube, and a locking/unlocking means for locking and unlocking the sucking extension tube to and from the air suction tube.
