The invention relates to a winding strip (B) for a roller (W), serving to achieve an improved drawing value, on for example, a roller for a textile machine, a paper machine, a film machine a drive roller in transport units or similar. Said strip comprises an outer layer (11) of high drawing compatibility, for example of high roughness, whereby the outer layer (11) is connected to an inner layer (12) with positional stability. According to the invention, a winding strip whereby the roller may be equipped with a secure fixing without the use of an adhesive as fixative, which must be laboriously removed from the roller on renewing the winding strip may be achieved, whereby the inner layer (12), or the joint (v) between the inner layer (12) and the outer layer (11) comprises a high stiffness, in particular perpendicular to the longitudinal extent (arrow y) of the winding strip (B), which does not permit corrugations on the roller (W) under normal loads. |
